What type of menus does Kitchen Language Catering serve? Are there any Halal certified options?

With a selection of 13 restaurant menus to choose from, including Halal-certified Katong Kitchen, Kitchen Language Catering offers a variety of menus to cater to your event needs. 
We cater to all special dietary requirements, with a vast selection of vegetarian and Halal-certified dishes. For any other dietary requirement, please contact our sales consultant for more menu options here.

You can also customise your own luxurious yet affordable menu to fit your budget.

Is there a minimum number of pax required for an event booking?

We cater to a minimum of 20pax per event. Please contact our sales consultant for more information. 

Are table set ups and decorations provided?

All buffets would include a standard set up. Additional charges may apply for thematic set up services.

Are cutlery and plates provided for events?

Yes, disposables are provided for all menus. Additional disposable cutlery and plates are available upon request. Additional charges may apply.

Will service staff be included in all event bookings?

Standard buffet catering set-up does not include service staff. Additional charges will apply for the hiring of service staff or butler services.

Are takeaway boxes/containers provided?

No, we do not provide takeaway boxes/containers for leftover food. For quality and safe consumption, food should not be kept in room temperature for more than 4 hours from the time it is cooked at the caterer’s kitchen to the time it is consumed as advised by NEA.

What types of beverages are offered?

Beverages are not included in the buffets packages. Click here to see our list for our beverages.

Are vegetarian meals available?

Yes. We provide special dietary such as vegetarian and halal dishes. For any other dietary requirement, please contact our sales staff for more menu options.

How can I place an order?

How do I know if my online order is processed?

An auto generated reply will be sent to your email after your online order has been submitted and our sales consultant will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your order. An order confirmation will be sent thereafter.

Can I replace the dishes in my chosen menu?

Yes, dishes of the same price range can be exchanged. If the desired dish is of a higher value, a surcharge of the difference in price will be applicable. All changes made must be confirmed 3 working days before the event date.

How many days in advance do I need to place an order?

Orders have to be placed 3 days in advance.

How can I make payment?

Payment can be made by credit card 2 working days prior to the event, or by cash upon delivery. Cheques can be made 1 week before the event date. Cheques must be crossed and made payable to “Kitchen Language Pte Ltd”.

Can I make any last minute changes to my order?

Any changes must be made 3 working days prior to event date.

Will there be any additional charges if I need to make a last minute cancellation of my order?

75% of the total bill will apply for order cancellation made 2 weeks' notice prior to event date. No refund will be made if order cancellation is made on the event date.

 

DELIVERY

Do you deliver on Public Holidays?

Yes, we deliver every day.

Is there a delivery charge?

Yes, there will be. Delivery charges are subjected to events requirement.

What is your earliest delivery time?

We start as early as 6.30am! Whatever your request is, we will do our best to fulfil them.

What is the collection time for the buffet?

Collection of buffet will be 4 hours from time of delivery or by 11p.m. Additional charges may apply for collection after the stated delivery time or the following day.

Can I extend the collection time for the buffet?

Yes. Extension of collection time is chargeable. Please note that extension of collection time is not recommended as NEA advises for food to be best consumed within 4 hours.

Is there an extra charge for late collection?

Yes, next day collection is chargeable and subjected to availability. Please contact our sales consultant for more information.
